PURVEYORS OF SPEED
In the late 60's and 70's, men would take an average street car and turn it into a competition vehicle. They would hurtle themselves down a salt flat or drive flat out around an oval or road course with the goal of cross the line first, often for just the bragging rights.
These machines were of a different time. A time when metal was shaped by hand and speed was made by bolting on parts from other cars. They were good ol boys than ran what fit and what worked. They competed in t-shirts, jeans, sneakers and metal flake helmets. This was an era that was gritty and smelled of gasoline, oil and burnt rubber.
At VinRacer, we (re)create these objects of vintage speed.
Our era correct vintage racer vehicles are built on that same enduring spirit of those pioneers of speed in America and in Europe. Each car is hand built, based on period correct design, engineering and competition rulebooks - to a standard of that day, but to be enjoyed by the enthusiast on the street or at the track.
Men of that day were also prioneers of style. They drove in heavy demin jeans, overalls, collared shirts and t-shits. They used their wristwatches to time their performance. These were elements of a lifestyle and culture of toughness and gritt. We are dedicated to bringing that lifestyle to you.

Many vintage car enthusiasts have a conundrum - restore that car to period correctness for thousands more than could ever be recovered in the sale of the vehicle - or create a daily driver to just enjoy - regardless of the current condition.
We believe that vintage muscle cars should be driven - but with a number on the door or hood. They should have a minimalist interior and a roll bar. They should have an open exhaust and they should turn a head not becuase they are pretty, but because they sound mean and nasty.
At VinRacer we take your vehicle, and turn it into a competitive style racer, but that is also a driver. Take it to track days or to the local car show. We work with you to create the vehicle of your childhood race hero. Be Dan Gurney, Sam Posey, Fireball Roberts or Parnelli Jones for a day. Or drive into the local car show and park next to any modern sports car and see who gets the attention.
Because we build it to era correct specs, we use fabrication techniques and bolt on speed equipment to keep your build cost lower than a full restoration.
